Children of ZTMC Workers Got a Sight of Television Backstage and Visited Show on Ice

On the occasion of Christmas holidays, the management and trade-union of the combine made the children of ZTMC workers a present, a wonderful tour to Dnepropetrovsk.

A local TV centre was the first place of interest visited by the children. To do justice to TV workers the visit became not a mere walk through the premises, but a wonderful excursion in the course of which guests from Zaporozhye, having visited a studio and an equipment room, learnt from TV employees how the organization was established and developed, who takes part in the process of creation a television broadcast, what kinds of knowledge are important for a TV worker and many other things. With great interest the children examined the equipment: both modern and that of older times. Specialists told the children about every minutest detail that one has to know to work at the shooting area. The knowledge needed not only by a cameraman or an anchorperson. Guests of the studio also have to abide by certain rules; for example, clothes of what colours are recommended not to be worn when taking part in TV shows.

In the Sport Palace Meteor, upon completion of the visit to the TV centre, all the participants of the fascinating journey visited a magnificent show Puss in Boots prepared by Dneprovsky Theater of Ice Dancing. Performance organizers had taken an imaginative approach to the fairy tale by Charles Perrault, having made it in a modern manner. They managed rather well, by the way. Everybody – both children and adults – were very pleased with the excellent acting, the dancing, and the exquisite costumes. And at the end of the visit to Dnepropetrovsk the group visited a bowling club. The children were enjoining the game for two hours. Everyone wished the day to go on!

Everybody has got a lot of pleasant impressions from the journey. It would be great to make a tradition of such tours! We would like all the children of ZTMC workers to take part in such a fascinating and informative adventure.
